I wouldn't call BritBox's April 2025 schedule the *best* month I've seen lately, but there are still a few gems to look forward to – including the new Agatha Christie adaptation, Towards Zero. Below, we take a look at what's in store for the first full month of spring…

April 1st Premieres

Would I Lie To You? returns April 1st

Would I Lie to You?, Season 17

This comedy panel show challenges celebrity guests to mix outrageous truths with convincing lies. Each team has to bluff their way through surprising stories and secret confessions, leaving the opposing team to decide what’s real and what’s not. With bizarre facts and embarrassing anecdotes in play, the game becomes a battle of wit, persuasion, and deception. All 12 half-hour episodes premiere on the 1st (North America).

April 8th Premieres

Hustle premieres April 15th

Hustle (2004 to 2012)

A team of skilled con artists targets wealthy criminals and corrupt figures using elaborate scams and clever deception. Led by Mickey Stone (Adrian Lester), the group includes fixer Ash Morgan (Robert Glenister), grifter Stacie Monroe (Jaime Murray), and ambitious newcomer Danny Blue (Marc Warren). Each episode follows the crew as they plan and execute complex cons while navigating unexpected obstacles and rivalries.

Episodes premiere as follows:

  • April 8th – Season 1
  • April 15th – Season 2

April 16th Premieres

Agatha Christie's Towards Zero (2025)

In 1936 England, British tennis star Nevile Strange (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) and his ex-wife Audrey (Ella Lily Hyland) make the surprising choice to spend the summer together at Gull’s Point, the coastal estate of Nevile’s wealthy aunt, Lady Tressilian (Anjelica Huston). Adding to the tension is Nevile’s new wife Kay (Mimi Keene), whose presence stirs old emotions and unresolved conflicts.

The gathering grows increasingly volatile with the arrival of a resentful cousin, a mysterious valet, a devoted family lawyer, and a charming con man. As tensions rise, a murder shocks the household, leaving a troubled detective to navigate a twisted web of jealousy and betrayal. With secrets unraveling and danger mounting, can he uncover the truth before another life is claimed?

This Farming Life, Season 7

In a time of growing uncertainty, five Scottish farming families navigate the highs and lows of life on the land. Faced with challenges like Brexit, the war in Ukraine, the pandemic, rising living costs, and climate change, these families rely on hard work, strong family ties, and the beauty of their rugged surroundings. Their stories highlight perseverance and dedication as they adapt to a world that’s constantly shifting. Three hour-long episodes premiere weekly for a total of 12.

April 23rd Premieres

The Cleaner returns April 23rd

The Cleaner, Season 3

Greg Davies (Taskmaster) returns as Wicky, a crime-scene cleaner who never seems to have a simple job. Armed with scrubbing brushes, chemicals, and plenty of patience, Wicky’s work often involves more than just cleaning — he’s also drawn into conversations with victims' loved ones, employers, neighbors, and even the occasional murderer. Season three introduces new faces, including Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9), Sharon Rooney (My Mad Fat Diary), Ben Willbond (Ghosts), and Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones). With more chaos and unexpected encounters ahead, Wicky’s latest round of clean-ups promises to be anything but routine. Two episodes premiere in North America, with weekly episodes after that (total of 6 half-hour episodes).

April 24th Premieres

I, Jack Wright premieres April 24th

I, Jack Wright

Jack Wright (Trevor Eve, A Discovery of Witches) is a powerful businessman whose apparent suicide leaves his family in shock. When his will is revealed, his third wife Sally (Nikki Amuka-Bird, Avenue 5) and sons Gray (John Simm, Grace) and John (Daniel Rigby, Flowers) are stunned to find themselves cut off from his fortune. As DCI Morgan (Harry Lloyd, The Theory of Everything) and DC Jones (Liz Kingsman, Hijack) investigate, they uncover that Jack’s death was no suicide — it was murder. With suspicions falling on the Wright family, tensions spiral as buried secrets and bitter rivalries come to light, turning the fight for Jack's wealth into a dangerous and destructive feud. Two episodes premiere in North America, followed by weekly episodes after that (total of six 45-minute episodes).
